Een oproep van Women’s Ordination Worldwide: draag op 23 februari een blauwe armband. Deze dag is de laatste dag van de bijeenkomst in Rome rondom seksueel misbruik in de kerk en WOW roept met deze actie op om aandacht hiervoor te vragen.
In hun nieuwsbrief schrijft WOW:
On February 23 2019, as the meeting in Rome about clergy sex abuse enters its last day, we invite you to wear a blue armband to the vigil mass at your parish to prayerfully call for the inclusion of:
– survivors of sexual abuse and their families,
– lay people, especially women,
– groups who work for survivor justice, and
– women theologians
in these meetings and all conversations about reform and healing.
